Florian
Schweiger

I work in probability theory and its intersections with analysis, with a particular interest in random interfaces, critical phenomena, and correlated fields.

Portrait of Florian Schweiger

I am a lecturer at the University of Bath, where I am a member of ProbLaB. Previously, I was a postdoc at the University of Geneva, hosted by Hugo Duminil-Copin, and at the Weizmann Institute of Science, hosted by Ofer Zeitouni.

I completed my PhD at the University of Bonn under the supervision of Stefan Müller.

Questions at the intersection of probability, analysis and statistical mechanics

  • Stochastic interface models
  • Topological phase transitions
  • Log-correlated fields and their extremes
  • Correlated percolation models
  • Regularity theory for discrete elliptic operators
